back from the motherland

Just got back from Minnesota. Saw extended family members. Saw LOTR again. Just as good second time. Lost my favorite scarf. Rather bummed about that.

Now need to finish X-mas shopping, X-mas cards, grad school applications...blah. This vacation does not promise to be restful.
