I got up at 1 pm today. I love life. (This was after staying up until the pre-dawn lightening of the sky to finish A Crown of Lights which
sigerson lent me, and which I highly recommend. Novel about the clash between a fundamentalist preacher and pagans in a small town on the border between England and Wales.
Speaking of which,
sigerson and
sen_no_ongaku came to visit yesterday, and we ate tasty food, and had good talk, and I was very glad they were here.
I remembered last night that several weeks ago I volunteered to sing the alto solo in Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass at the community sing-through tomorrow evening. Oops. Picked up the score today. I don't think I'm in huge trouble, but I do have some work to do! There's some nimble soloistic stuff - it's not all being stuck in the inner part of a quartet. Ironic, considering I'm getting my hands on a copy of HP6 tonight.
