Hm. So I never covered the last 2 days of my RI trip.
Sunday morning
sanj gave me a ride over non-bike-friendly bridges to Newport. I bummed around a little bit there, and then hit the road north, into the wind and rain. Was mostly a bummer of a biking day, but there's a lovely bike path on that side of the water. Really awesome. I highly recommend it to all - it's called the East Bay Bike Path and it goes from Providence to Bristol, RI.
Got w/in .5 miles of my B&B and got hopelessly lost and wandered around very very dark Southern Mass. roads in the pitch blackness, but finally made it.
And Monday was unfortunately head-windy again, but very gorgeous. And I got home and was very tired...my endurance is not what it was at the end of a cross-country trip, that's for sure!
So that was RI. Quite fun, but I need to train more before going on long bike trips like that.
And now it's grindstone time for the next 3 weeks...or more, depending on how hectic the application process to grad school is.
And it's very cold today, and UCLA looks better and better!
