I think I like this Frank Rich guy. He's a columnist for the New York Times.

In other news, a soldier stationed in Iraq who had an LJ account, wolfmoon98, died recently. As I cannot efficiently and tactfully and cogently collect my thoughts on the matter, I will refrain from comment.

I didn't know him at all. Someone on my friends page, who also didn't know him, posted about it. I think the news is making its way across Livejournal - note the 600 comments on his last post.

Is it sadder that bullshit like this happened, or sadder that I'm not even a little bit surprised?

What do people need to do to get out and out fired in this country? Is it possible that more than half the country wouldn't care even if they knew?
