Only 2 days of classes, and already I'm feeling extremely stressed. I am feeling nervous and twitchy and having trouble concentrating. I did a lot of organizing work this evening - all my papers are now in the correct folders for the correct classes - but as for actually getting work done for classes or rehearsals, not a lot happened. I'll probably sleep badly tonight.

Right now my major worry is recruiting enough women for the chorus - I'd like to start rehearsals this Sunday. But getting enough women together, esp. on short notice, is an intimidating task.

I also came to the unfortunate conclusion today that I think I will not have time for taekwondo this semester. I hope to jog on my own instead. I did on Tuesday morning...we'll see if I can keep it up.

It could be I'm just cold. Maybe I should take a nice warm shower. That might relax me.

Dude, it's 3:30 am and I'm working on the assignment for Big J. Couldn't sleep 'til I got it done. Ridiculous.

You're insane! That's not due for over a week!

This week has been pretty stressful here too. Hopefully next week will be better

Remember how I felt during the last few weeks before the Choralfest gig with NCV? I feel like that, but without the pissed-off. Hopefully today will slap some sense into me.

Just for the record, whoever said morning exercise would energize you, blah blah blah, they can officially kiss my arse.

Maybe it's better if you can fill your veins with lusciously blood-sugar raising oh-so-delicious-yet-oh-so-unhealthy carb-filled food and drink, but since I can't, and since my blood sugar needs to remain at a flat-as-possible line, I guess I'm screwed.

Yes, exercise makes me grumpy in the mornings.

I tend to go with the thought, "If I'm going to exercise, I can eat some wonderful sugary stuff beforehand because the exercise helps keep my blood sugar down". And I like that better than getting hypoglycemic when I'm away from home and having to eat something carb-y to get back to normal levels once I get back.

It works in general, although I'm never up early enough to exercise in the mornings anyway. Not that I exercise enough to begin with.

The problem with that tends to be, unless I eat happy carb-o-licious crap on a regular basis, "real" sugar and unrefined carbs tend to make me nauseous, which makes it hard to exercise anyway, so I've basically spiked my blood sugar for no foreseeable benefit.

Plus, if I eat the stuff, I start craving it ALL the time. *blah*

I might try having a wasa or something before I run, with the thought process that some complex carbs might help keep me from getting wobbly.

Years ago I determined that I am a morning thinker and a night exerciser. I was playing a lot of ultimate and I would be a little grumpy the first few games of the day.

Well, I'm not much of a morning person in general. It doesn't matter how much I sleep - if I get up at 5 a.m., I will be tired at 5 p.m.. That's just how my body seems to work.

I mean, it would be more efficient to exercise in the morning. I have so much to do at night anyway, and I can't always exercise after work, because of rehearsals and the like.

Bah. I just need more time in a day. That's the problem.

Warm shower will help. Also (you knew I was going to say this) a cup of tea. :)

It's just that it seems any firend of mine who knows March of the Falsettos only knows it because I introduced it to them.

Sounds like a Mercury/Mars/Herschel transit. (I am using the alternative name for one of the planets because the usual one invites coarse puns.) It will be over soon.
