May. 25th, 2005 04:00 amFairly busy day today - Brahms Requiem rehearsal in the morning, at which Dr. Flummerfelt went off about his religious beliefs and how they jived with Brahms'...then I got to watch the dress rehearsal of La bella dormente by Respighi, which was adorable (it's a puppet opera, with life-size marionettes)...and now I'm off to the last dress rehearsal.
The director of Die Vogel, while charming and possessed of a fascinating superfluity of ideas, has been driving everyone a little nuts by changing the blocking ALL THE TIME. We changed the openings of both acts yesterday. Hopefully nothing will change tonight, but I am not putting any money on it.
