First off, someone mentioned to me a few weeks ago that they never read the standard news/fun/wacky sites anymore, they just rely on people to post links to really good articles in their blogs.
OK. So first off, a very interesting interview with Viggo Mortensen (be sure to check out the link to the pictures on the first page.)

sanj's journal, mad props to Senator Ted Kennedy.
And finally, discovery of the day: reading your friends' friends' lj's is fascinating. I thought it would be dull, b/c I don't actually know these people, but it was by turns interesting, tragic, hilarious, and just plain odd. Also a time-suck when you should be being a good worker-bee. Most hilarious find of the day from someone I'm two degrees of separation from is courtesy oflithiate's journal. As she says, maybe God hates the movie. *grin*
(not really feeling very devious, but I wanted to see if there was a devious kitty. Oh, there is. Cute kitty. :)
