Er, is anyone watching the current season of Lost? I watched about half of the first season over winter break, and then I didn't watch anything else until tonight. (I got sucked in b/c I love, love, love Michelle Rodriguez and she was in the ads.) And now I kind of need to freak out at somebody else who watched it!

In other news, I have SO got senioritis. I have tons of work left to do, and nothing's exactly getting done.

On the plus side, I did watch 3 hours of TV this evening!

However, on the down side, my driver's license expired. This is not a biggie, but will be a pain in the butt at some point.

And I had a dream that my driver's license has expired a year ago without my noticing but it turned out to be a false alarm.

Do you know, am I just not allowed to drive cars now? B/c that's fine. What I'm worried about is being able to use it as an ID. :)

Actually, I read a travel book (true, not fiction) where the author got in a jam because an airline would NOT accept his license as ID because it was expired. :-(

word senioritis. i dropped a class because i didn't want to write a 5 page paper and take a test. i was taking the class pass/fail too.

Oh my oh my, yes. Did you jump right into the current season?

Yes! I just jumped right into last night - the previous one I'd seen was Hurley's numbers episode. I'm so sad! I can't believe they killed her! I love Michelle - I wanted to watch lots of Lost with her!

Well, she's a major character throughout Season 2, so when we watch it all in order, you'll see lots of her. (My parents have burned copies of each episode as it's come out, so we don't even have to wait for it to get released on DVD - we just have to watch S1 first!!)

As you know, I am watching it. And yeah, damn, last night's episode was insane!

I know! Ack! I might be hooked now. Except next week is just going to be freaky, so maybe I won't be able to take it.

Won't it kind of suck for you to watch it out of order? I don't think this is the kind of show where one can easily do that - watching the end of Season 2 could sort of spoil some of the fun of watching Season 1 later. (Of course, I didn't watch much of Season 1, but I read recaps online and stuff and feel as though I have seen it all, and I have watched Season 2 religiously.)

But now you see why I am so desperate to start watching it with you; I need someone with whom to obsess over the show's mysteries!

What is your schedule like before Spoleto? I am half-tempted to get a DVD player and start catching up with Season 1 NOW.

No can do, I'm sorry! I'll be lucky to get my act together before Spoleto with everything on my plate. Still haven't started that huge paper due Tuesday.

I'll be patient and wait until after Spoleto if you will!

At some point I'll probably have to check out this Lost thing for myself.

Daaaamn. You need to watch some more of it to understand just how screwed they now are.

I'm not sure how many spoilers you'll want to receive just yet. The first episode in Season 2 had some quite shocking revelations, and you might want to watch the end of 1 before getting into the current season (which is in fact 2).
