sartorial sagacity?

Re: this. Anyone know how or where to buy a women's tuxedo that's smooth and classy and won't make people ask me for more little quiches?

I always think you should serve me little quiches, no matter what you're wearing.

I suppose you want me to dig out that French maid outfit again. Or the rubber diving suit. Can't you come up with anything new?

A French rubber diving maid!

Hard to argue with that.

I was telling Jess that I think that going for the style with tails rather than a regular jacket will help you look more formal and less like a waiter.

Seconded. Think something 1920 / 30's maybe?

Not bad, but I think that [livejournal.com profile] sen_no_ongaku is looking for something that is unambiguously a tux, and while that's nice, no one would call it a tuxedo.

Hm. Maybe too business-ish?

Here's an idea -- wearing a corset instead of a tux shirt, underneath a classic fitted tux jacket, for color and slink?

Or look up Marlene Dietrich for inspiration.

I seem to recall a woman at [livejournal.com profile] yaoobruni and [livejournal.com profile] kassrachel's wedding in a tux. Perhaps they might have some advice.

Top Hat.

Seriously, waiters do not wear top hats.

Luckily, I have one. Silk, too.

I look stupid in hats.
